To all prospective Flight Express candidates:
You have chosen a great way to build time and experience. I can say that without a doubt because that is exactly what I did. I was hired to Flight Express in Nov. of 2004 after being denied a few times by the airlines. Flight Express is a Part 135 single pilot freight operation. The experience you will build at Flight Express will go a long way in your favor. I was hired by a regional after being at Flight Express.
While at Flight Express I learned more about flying then I have my whole
career. With Flight Express you will have gone through a standardized
ground school as well as pass a Part 135 checkride. If you think thats
no big deal, tell that to the Chief Pilot at the regional where I was
hired to who said it played a huge role in my being offered the position.
Flight Express has a long history of pilots going on to other things they
pursued, whether it be the airlines or other Part 135 outfits flying jets.
I can not stress enough the importance of this position on your resume.
Trust me and all the rest of the Flight Express Alumni. Wish you guys
